As our Seneschal, Sorcha, has told you, we will be moving out of our current storage unit in the near future. Ww am pleased to announce that on Saturday, Dec. 14, we will lease a larger unit—for less than we currently spend. It is our hope that we will save treasure, offer better and safer access to supplies, and safeguard our stuff.
Barring the unforeseen, the new unit will be centrally located to our geography, located at the well-lit 1441 Hunting Valley Rd. Public Storage facility (along MN-280, at the Como Ave. exit). The drive-up unit will have 200ft² (up from 150ft²) to load into, and as a group we will have a secure passcode onto the premises, with a list of people who have access that we can update as we need. We have spoken to the staff, who are very responsive and friendly, and are well-rated for the metro area.
However, to avoid paying another month of rent at Great Lakes Storage, we need to shift our assets sooner rather than later. It’s cold and icy, some of the items are VERY large and our Quartermaster is busy making 12th Night happen. So we need help!
We will need a few of our helpers to bring charged, battery operated screwdrivers with Phillips-head bits to disassemble the shelving!
