To all whom these present letters shall come, do Caoilfhionn and Gabriel, Baroness and Baron of Nordskogen, and Jois and Toussaint, Baroness and Baron of Jararvellir, send sad greetings.
We are in challenging times for our Baronies, our Kingdom, and the SCA. The virus continues to spread through our lands, and while our social distancing has been helping to slow that spread, its advance will likely continue through to the fall. Further, modern authorities continue to suggest small gatherings only, even when the stay-at-home orders are not in place.
Given this, after much consultation, we have decided to cancel Warriors and Warlords XXVII. We do not do this lightly, and we appreciate all the time and work people have already put into this event. Special thanks to the event stewards, Bazyli and Nikolaus, and to the event staff who will now be shifting plans to next year.
This is not the end of WW. We look forward to continuing Northshield’s biggest party next year!
