Site Fees:

Adult: $30 pre-registered; $35 at the gate.
Adult Members: $20 pre-registered; $25 at the gate.
Children 6-17: $10; Children 5 and under: Free.
Family site cap: $50

Directions to Site:

Approximately 25-minute drive west of Faribault and 70-minute drive south of Minneapolis.
*Use caution when locating Singing Hills via GPS!*
Use the Girl Scouts’ special directions below.

Directions from I-35

Take exit 56 to go west on Highway 60.
Past Waterville, turn right (go north) on County Road 6.
Turn left (west) on County Road 14/Ridge Road. Follow for 2 miles.
Turn right on 193rd Avenue to find Camp Singing Hills.
OR
Take exit 56 to go west on Highway 60.
From Highway 60, turn right at Highway 13.
Go North three blocks to Paquin Street, then turn left.
Go through Waterville. Paquin Street turns into Ridge Road/County Road 14.
Take Ridge Road/County Road 14 for five miles, then turn right onto 193rd Avenue.

Site Information and Amenities:

Site is discreetly damp. Wine and beer are allowed; no hard liquor or kegs, please.
In addition, all empty cans and bottles must be taken off site when we leave. 

Smoking and vaping are not allowed on camp property, including inside personal vehicles in parking lots. Anyone wishing to smoke or use other tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes or vaporizers, must do so outside the perimeter of the property.

Propane camp stoves and charcoal barbeque grills are allowed.  Propane and charcoal are not provided by the Girl Scouts.  The propane tanks cannot be used on any of the camp’s picnic tables. We do not want them to get burnt. All ashes must be properly disposed of to avoid starting a fire (they can be added to an existing firepit and must be fully extinguished.)

Bedding is not provided in the lodgings.  Please bring your own sheets, blankets, and pillows.

Only cots or bunks are provided in the cabins, tent cabins, and yurts. No beds are provided in the lower floor of the program center.  If you need any other furnishings like small tables or chairs, you will need to bring your own.

If you must post something inside any building, please use blue painter’s tape.

Recycling is single stream (no need to separate!). Food remnants should go in the trash, plastic bags should go in the trash, empty any liquids into a sink before recycling the container.

Amenities:
Free firewood is provided. Flush toilets are available throughout camp; a shower house is onsite. Accessible cabin space, restrooms, and shower available; site paths are maintained but not paved. Folks who bring their own tents should be aware that the camp has just one outdoor water spigot next to the dining hall.

This is a campground.  Be sure to bring whatever is needed for your personal comfort while camping, especially chairs!

Congratulations to 2022’s Bow SchützenkönigDon Trystan der Fackeltrager, and to the inaugural Crossbow Schützenkönig, Master Crispin Fletcher!

Schützenfest is based on the Germanic festival of marksmanship. Join us for a weekend packed with archery and thrown weapons activities, food, campfires, the Bard of Nordskogen competition, and the competition for the title of Schützenkönig, king of marksmen!
