Recurring Events

Some events we like so much, we do them again and again. These premiere gatherings receive visitors from across the Kingdom and in some cases, the Known World, and are fantastic opportunities for the Barony to prove that our hospitality and flair are second to none.

Twelfth Night

On the twelfth day of Christmas in Nordskogen Barony, join us for a day of tournaments, activities, court and feasting (and a partridge in a pear tree!) and ring in the New Year in style! Visit the event website at: https://nordskogentn.wordpress.com/ or the Facebook event page at: https://www.facebook.com/events/1288556095123487.

Warriors and Warlords

In cooperation with the neighboring Barony of Jararvellir, this multi-day camping event takes place yearly in July, in scenic Osseo, Wisconsin. There’s more than a little of everything for everyone, with a festive atmosphere that has been described as a party for the whole kingdom! Learn more at warriorsandwarlords.org.

Schützenfest

Schützenfest is an archery-focused event that happens every other year.  See the Schutzenköenig or köeningen, king or queen of archers crowned during a weekend of unique shoots, and unique traditions. We will be hosting this event again in 2024. Go here for more information.

Too, there are weekly and monthly meet-ups which members of the barony hold, either in their homes or at some other safe venue to provide a supportive, friendly space in which to learn and practice a variety of disciplines.
